Pick up this 95 240sx not expecting this many problems.
it all started when the rear driver's side brake started rubbing into the rotor, replaced both rear rotors and pads. it had alot of broken studs so i replaced all 16 of them on sunday. we noticed the front rotors were about toasted and a few days later it sounds like my front drivers side pad is constantly rubbing so i bought new front pads and rotors, and put them on today. the drivers side piston pushed in like a dream, then moved to the passenger side and i had a hell of a time getting that in i figured it was seized so i took a break to look for a temporary fix, nothing, i went back out and got the thing pushed in but i still plan on replacing it since im guessing it wont release all the pressure as well as it should. so i got both the front rotors and pads changed, took it around the block and i still hear the rubbing from the drivers side (oposite side of the seized piston) so pulled it back in jacked it up took the e brake off so there is no brake pressure spin the front drivers side wheel and it rubs quite a bit, spin the passengers side and it hardly rubs at all and i hear no noises when driving.
could the passenger side being seized affect the drivers side any how by having unequal pressure or anything. if not what the hell is going on
Tomorrow i will be bleeding brakes although the pedal feels fine, and checking if its the dust plate rubbing although the wheel when being spun freely stopped as if the pads were rubbing.
are both front calipers shot? 217xxx miles on the car
