i have a stock 240, ka24de swapped into it. nothing special
my radiator fan clutch is done for, my fan runs all the time. its not going to be an issue till full blow summer but its starting to get hotter around me, so i wanna get to it before its late. should i go mishimoto electric fan or should i just get a new fan clutch?
if i go with mishimoto, are their fans reliable? are there instructions?? and also, what cfm should i get
i don't care about hp gain/loss, i just wanna keep my engine cool and not worry

the biggest issue with electric fans are the methods used for powering/turning them on not just the fan. The most common failures i've seen are to much amp draw with no relay and/or crappy switch. If you run it to a manual switch YOU WILL forget to turn it on at some point.. happens to everyone. If you hardwire it to cut on with the car your gonna hate it in the winter since the car won't warm up properly and your going to put a lot more stress on the fan possibly causing premature failure.
The stocker is way more reliable because there is less happening but a properly set up E-fan set up will work fine.. on my first car i ran cheap autozone e fans with a good thermo for 4yrs.
I installed a mishi rad/dual fan set up on a buddies Honda a while ago through a DIF fan controller with 40amp relays and it's been working fine.
I run dual spals with Dif controller + 40amp relays.
New clutch fan is about 30 bucks at kragen or autozone. It only takes about 10 minutes to replace if that.
