Hi,
i have recently bought a PowerFC for my Zenki S14, after checking my car's ECU for compatibility. i noticed i have a kouki ECU for an Auto tranny (the car is a "bastard" child - late 96 and thus having a kouki ecu, afm etc and also swapped to a manual).

I know that Zenki PFC's are discontinued and that many zenki owner's just get a kouki pfc and get a harness or just replace some wires. i want to know if i could do it the other way round? has anyone done it before? and is there a good place to get the harness from? is the fact that the car has an auto ecu changes anything or will the PFC handle it?
thanks!
Alon

It is the F4 (or F3 forgot the correct name) plug difference, which is the plug that connects to ur ecu from then engine harness. I have a Kouki s14 and a zenki sr motor. The F4 pinout is very much different between the two. Unless you are good with re-pinning the wires, otherwise, I suggest you got a kouki ecu or get a kouki harness.

Others correct me if I'm wrong.

Nope you are correct.... Zenki and Kouki engine pinouts for PFC are very different... I wouldn't even attempt it.... Its not just the pins at the ecu area, but also the entire engine harness is laid out differently as well...

Either seek professional help and be prepared for a headache.

If i cahnge the pinout at the harness connector it wouldn't be enough? i will to change other parts of the harness aswell?
no one manufactures a pre made harness for that "headache"?

thanks for the help!

You could do that, if you read the engine diagram harness right.... If you can do it, I'd say do it.
