I am tempted to see this movie, it's just that all the Superbad actors
seem so one dimensional. Just like Steve Carell, I HATE that guy.
McLovin was great the first time I saw Superbad. He was the same

the comic and movie were announced at practically the same time, so the comic was really more promotional material than anything. still a great, short read.

Ok, saw the movie last night on a date. At first, she was all trying to see Death at a Funeral. I was like "Fuck that! I sat thru that Tyler Perry bullshit wit u last week! We're seeing Kickass tonight!"

Cool movie. Seriously though, that kid was all heart and no brains. Definently shows what would happen if some real world loser put on a costume and ran around trying to be a superhero... haha

And no, this movie didn't really feel like SuperBad with capes, which is fine by me. Did anyone else notice the Chuck Norris-esque monster roundhouse kicks the villan was throwing?

It was okay...did not by any means live up to the hype zilvia has given it....maybe west coast humor is different than east coast??? It wasn't the worst movie i've seen but definitely not the best. Slow beginning, picked up and was decent through the middle, ended alright...HitGirl was badass.

I read the comics, and was hyped from day-1. The first released promo shot of hitgirl make me skeptical (ending Schoolgirl outfit).

Everything was fucking spectacular. The only ONE gripe I had with the movie was the exit from DaMico's estate. I love campy, but that shit was overthefucking top. And it lasted way too long. A WHOLE FUCKING MINUTE?!?!

there was just a few things that i liked better in the book than the movie. (without giving anything away... ie: dave's relationship with katie, the final fight, red mist, big daddy's personality).

Also John Romita Jr. really didn't hold much back in the book.
