I have a 91 sr20det redtop and I live in midland tx and when it sprinkles it floods half of the streets. I was driving through same water trying to get to school and it stalled. i blew the water out of the mafs and my filter is wet. could that cause it to stall? ( i have the cxracing intake, its near the intercooler almost on the ground)
I drove it after school trying to get it home and it stalled again a few blocks away and was running a bit weird. do you think it could just be a wet filter and mafs? im 100% its not hydrolocked.

First of all take that gay ass intake off a keep the intake inside the engine bay before you Hydro-lock the engine.

Second, clean the MAF (correctly) and take off the intercooler and all the piping to verify there is no water in the system then check inside the Intake manifold
