View Full Version : 240sxMotoring Takes 1st Place at Redline Time Attack NJ!

Despite our wing collapsing, our front splitter wobbling, and various other issues, we managed to take 1st place in our Super Modified class at Redline Time Attack this weekend!

Also, congrats to Cobb Tuning with their lightning fast GT-R for setting a new track record!

But all you guys really want to see are the pics from the model competition, huh? :p

you guys need a Kognition Time attack wing...ASAP!

Thanks everyone! Everyone on the team appreciates your support!

The wing we had on there was an Origin GT wing. There were about 2-3 outer guys out there that were having issues with their wing. At least ours didn't break off completely! Keep in mind, we were hitting at least about 160mph on the straights.

the fact that you guys beat dsg fabs 240sx maxi by .100's of a second is amazing. Sounds like you guys did the better tire shopping lol.

it wasnt .10 of a second, but still was close though.

the first time attack session we were leading by only a .100 but the car had tremendous understeer due to wrong tire pressures that were set before the time attack. the second session we dialed it in a little better. if we had a practice between the sessions then i think we could have worked a little better with some settings I wanted to play with. Car could have good faster I feel. We will be doing a couple test sessions before the next event to dial in more settings we want to experiment with.

***I AM SORRY FOR THE VIDEO QUALITY, the camera we were using took alot of abuse over the weekend. the lens actually started to seperate from the housing and was constantly trying to "auto-focus" which we did not know until later****

what engine management are you running with the racepak dash? I've been interested in picking one up but its not a plug and play deal with power fc, as it is with motec, haltec, and aem. =(

I am running the Haltech P1000 which is integrated with the Racepak

I knew it... I'm still really finicky about going with a haltech over a power fc. Eitherway that discussion belongs elsewhere, thanks!!!
