J4 Ecu with Non Type X blacktop Motor.

Im only getting spark in cylinder #1. Where can I find the information to repin my ecu or is the J4 backwards compatible.

Gotta repin five wired 3 are coil 2,3,4 and cas 180 and 1 degree.
Just find a 62 and j4 pinout. Only takes about 10 min todo.

You are the man. This is going to be easy now I dont have to go swap for a different ecu

Yeah but one thing maybe 2. I have a tx black top with red top harness and ecu. It ran rich until I changed the temp sensor and O2. The txsr uses a oval temp sensor and plug.and the O2 is larger than the red top.hope this helps. If my car turned off it wouldn't restart unless I pressed the gas all the way down when cranking.

Well thanks to you AND fresh alloy I drove my car last night. It pulls like a champ. It felt really good to finally get to drive it after all the work. I just repinned the ecu and ban fired up. Still idles a little funny. Sits at like 2k until warmed up then when it trys to drop to 800 it just dies unless i give it some gas. Vaccum leak?
