Nice work! :)

I don't suppose you could give a brief description of what the install required? I'm debating on getting a new hatch/vice a spoiler and cleaning up the rust on my current hatch and I'm just curious how hard it was to install the wangan.

You really need a front lip to balance it out. Wing looks great.

radhaz- The install wasn't hard at all, the spoiler comes with holes drilled into it with threads inside. When you take the stock foam spoiler off there are 4 holes that match up with the wangan. I put screws into those holes and because i felt that i wanted it to be more secure i drilled 2 holes in the hatch that matched up with 2 other holes in the spoiler. Also i talked to some people that have this spoiler and few of them said to use some double sided tape to hold it down too.

btw- I was surprised when i took off my foam spoiler i had no rust at all under it.

anubis9228-Thanks for the advice i was thinking about getting one but i am saving up for exhaust next.

Hmm I don't really like how it looks, I guess adding a lip would do it a little more justice. But I like the smaller versions (or maybe its all in my head), but check out the pic I attached (plus its a girl driver :D). It looks a lot smaller than the one you have and prefer that type better.

EDIT: But the more I look at yours and other pics of the one I posted it might just be the angles of the pics, and colors all screwing with my head.

yah...those two wings look the same size...except the one on the black 240 was moved forward a bit, but i dunno..that's what i think

maybe its just the angle and the paint because the one on the black one is the same one that i got from pdm-racing. but then again i don't know.

The black wing looks smaller.

Compare the side shots of both of them. Hookedup240's wing sits further out past the tail lights than the wing on the black car does. Atleast thats what it looks like to me. I'm more partial to the smaller look myself, but good job man nonetheless!

I think that it looks good and will be an asset to the cars whole package look.

Is that wangan spoiler new or used and where did you get it at?

me no likey. too big and sticks out too much. always wondered if people might weight the spoiler down to break it off. small black one is nice looking. but i'm not a fan of the whole wangan thing

there the same spoiler, the white one hangs further back, but look at the front, its almost even with the window, where the black one is moved towards the front. i like the black ones placement better IMHO.

i agree, i personally dont think it flows really well with the lines of the car...but it's not my car, so if you like it - rock it! :wiggle:

It is alittle long, but still looks fine. Which kind of wangan wing is that; new or used? I was planning on one as well, but the shorter one.

No they're not the same.

The one from PDM lools like an exact deplicate of the Bomex one, notice the edge of the wing is positioned behind the antenna, with the tail almost lined-up with the rear bumper.

The "small" Wangan on the blk 240 is the same one Jspec sells on his site, (I believe its made by EastBear) which has a small opening on the left edge to clear the antenna. I have the same wing on my s13. It's extremely light weight and high quality.

IMHO the longer one looks better if you have a full kit, while the small one flows better with the stock body line.

The PDM Front Lip and PDM Rear Wing on Don Nimi's S13

It doesn't get much more sexy then this kit on the hatch, IMO

Ahhhh, IC , thanks for clearing that up, and ya the shorter one looks better with no kit or simpler kits, while the long one looks better with a kit.
