Im trying to see where you have your power steering reservoir mounted that have tubs up front. It looks like the only real option is next to the brake master cylinder? where do you guys have it located?

Most people make their own or what not and just move it by the radiator. it's amazing that I don't have a picture available to show you an example.
you can utilize those unused studs that are on your upper core support cross bar where the air intake inlet used to be.
assuming you have an s14 maybe s13 has this too. i dunno.

Just make sure it's higher than the pump. It's gravity fed, you don't want to starve it.

there are better options out there other than using another remote mount reservoir. ill post up a pic of what i did later.

The new powersteering resovoir setup by chase bays is a prime example of where it can be relocated also behind the shock tower near the USDM driver side firewall as long as it is above the PS pump like mentioned above.

it just has to be higher than the pump, what ever makes sense...

I took my s14 'mounting bracket', welded it to an s13 reservoir, and then had AN fittings welded to it. Worked great. Just remembe to have that return high on the tank, or you're gonna make Strawberry milkshake everywhere.

Doesn't the reservoir just need to be above the pump? Otherwise it could go anywhere, correct?

it doesnt have to be mounted higher, but it "prefers" gravity feed

no, it totally needs to be above, and to gravity feed.

Well technically the fluid level needs to be higher then the pickup on the pump but close enough I guess.
To the OP, I tubbed my car and ended up making my own out of some IC piping I had left over. Capped both ends then welded a -6/-8 on it for return and feed.

not trying to disprove you, cause i wouldn't do it myself but

I remember reading it in some power steering thread - but like I said, it prefers to be gravity fed

All of those examples are still gravity fed for the Nissans. Regardless of mounting, and line route, the reservoir needs to be above the pump. The line can loop back up too, but doesn't need to.
