theres a set of 15x6.5 volk mesh for sale for $530 shipped ad the offset is +19, thats gonna be far from flush right? im still thinking bout getting them or getting kosei k1's from tirerack for $1050 shipped for 15's and kumho's. kinda lost as to what to do, the only think i need is for the wheels to clear my teins, any opinions or suggestions?

15x6.5 for 530? your getting ripped off
used too i assume? you shouldnt pay more then 400 for a full set. and that's a 15x7!
koseis are nice. clear coilovers.. my 15x7 +27 koseis barely clear my tein HEs

yeah if i get the kosei's, i think this would be my 4th set, but my first for my 240. i have had kumho's before and dont really like them. what other tire would be a good alternative to the ecsta 712? i dont wanna spend over $100 a tire and i dont even want to spend that. i am getting a set of mesh riken style wheels that are 15x7 w/ a 20 offset for $360 w/ allweather tires just for an extra set and they will need other tires too, but what should i get for the kosei's? they would be daily driven and i would want them to last some time and dont wanna cost more than kumho's. thanks dousan

id get the koseis
the style isnt bad and its a great wheel. 15x7 +27 clears coilovers AND z brakes!!
yeah i'd go es100
i like mine a lot
i like my fm901 too but i would use es100s if i was doing grip
i heard the kuhmo MX is great too. but i dont like most kuhmos (personal opinion)

i use 205/55/15
i dont want 50 yes it does have its advantages, but 55 is not too small and not too large.

If you want them to last a long time, don't buy performance summer tires.
you'll be lucky to get more than 20K miles out of any of the tires they listed.
what did you not like about the Kumho's? Choosing the proper tires for you is a careful ballet of give and take.

for me, i DONT autox
i track lap after lap
all my friends who have used kuhmo (various ones..712..supra..whatever it is)
the tires get hot and greasy. all 4 of them. now a 80F+ day (weather, not track temp) after 2 laps were slipping and sliding. so then put on the fm901s, all day no problems. azenis no problems.
es100s, no problems
no one i know has had a great expirience w/ kuhmo. now as i said, the MX is supposed to be a great tire. but i very hesitant!

I love my volk meshies. But paid $600 shipped to VA from CA so yes the price is a little high. I have the Kumhos 712s and love them. The wet traction is amazing and dry traction is pretty good also (Haven't taken them to the track yet to test dousan's experiences)
Just be aware that it will take you about an hour to clean meshies...a big PITA but well worth it when you look at them:bowdown:

i hated the kumho's causethey heated and ran out of tread way to fast, i went to the track to drag w/ them on my civic and after 4 burnouts and 4 runs the treads were at about 50% but they did hook up well after they got heated up. i think i'll try the es100's and go w/ the kosei's. anyone else carry kosei's i dont think anyone does but can i get the buddy clubs ones for cheaper somewhere?

um yeah **** tire rack, so in the email i requested info about a 15x7 +27 and they douche gave me a quote and all for that wheel and i even wrote back making sure they have them, but when i call to order he says all they carry is a +38 and dont carry a +27 and they are specially making the +38. so guess what, NO KOSEI'S FOR ME. im ****ed off now. guys i want wheels and need them to clear my coilovers. maybe gram lights :bash:

I need new tires bad. I have a flat on one rear and like no tread on the other rear...my brother has 2 Dunlops not sure what kind with good tread and he said he will give them to me for 10 bux. I am doing this for just the rear. The tire size is 195/55/15...will they fit ok with out too much of a problem?
