Seling my blacktop s13 coupe in san jose, ca. Car has not been smogged and needs to be registered. Engine has appx 60-70k miles and has been in the car for about a year.

Mods:
Greddy Type S BOV
Tein type HE coilovers
Blitz DTT turbo timer
Autometer boost gauge
Autometer A/F ratio gauge
Stillen Fuel Pressure Regulator
K&N Intake Filter Cone
Dual Electric Fans Wired to Power Lead(turns on/off with ignition and stays on while timer runs down)
TurboXS manual boost controller
Apexi N1 exhaust

Most everything is stock with a shortend shifter.

Now the problems and there are 2. The O2 dump pipe to Turbo Bolts loosen a bit and are a pain to get to, so there is a bit of exhaust leak that can be felt while boosting. Recent the car has developed an unheaalthy idle, i have no idea where it came from but it may just be because its been pretty hot today and i havent driven it for 2 weeks, but still i gotta note it. So all in all its a healthy motor in a healthy car, just needs someone who will take better care of it and will take it to get it tuned. Just wok out the bugs and its a incredible car at even just 10 psi this thing is nasty.

Also, theres a bit of some vandalism on the hood/trunk/and roof, just some key marks, alot of them.

Looking to get what i can for it, best offer gets it. Im looking for around 4k, but best offer gets it, im trying to sell it within a week. Email [email protected] for info.

*cry* i dun wanna let her go but i just dont have the funds to get it tuned and keep her healthy so i gotta let it go before i mess it up badly. New apartment, new job, bills all got me in the hole =(.

Oh ya forgot to mention car is rollin on stock alloys painted grey and the car does have a JDM VLSD, there is no P/s and no a/c and the tranny still has a jdm speedo sensor(was an auto orignally but converted to 5spd during swap so speedo is off a bit but close enough on the street but off on the freeeway.

No cat, runs on a testpipe. Interior is pretty damn clean with great cloth seats.

Wow no buyers yet? Keep in mind that the worst problem with this car is a loose 02 dump pipe.....im probably not using the right bolt or missing a stud, just find out how to stick this baby on and you got a healthy car. When i say it needs tuning, i mean its running rich, backfiring and stalls if you engine brake then drop gear, when this happens it starts to have a bad idle(engine vibrations off the ying-yang) but just tuning will work it out, also you can play with the fuel pressure regulator to try and alleviate alleviate it. I just seriouusly need to get rid of this car =(. First offer of 3k takes it, its a fast car, capable of high 13s, especially with its new exedy stage 2 clutch in it =).

First 3k gets it.

good luck
just want tos ay 3K is a awesome price. those litttle problems (and they are little) can be fixed by the buyer VERY easily w/ some tiem and patience.
new clutch, lsd, the engine installed..shiiiiit a sr swap costs near 1000+ these days.
exhaut is pricey

that's a great deal..and a coupe! ack..
perfect for an out of state buyer...because of the registration/emissions that needs to get done

good luck!!

would you be confident in driving this car a long distance in its current running condition? It sounds EXACTLY like what I'm looking for, and I have been planning on flying out to see my brother in Cali, but I would HAVE to drive the car home, which is well over 2k miles.

any idea where in bay area i can get it smogged? PM me if you want. If we can make that car pass smog here in Cali, then i'll take it off your hands. Also, do you know how much it will cost for a shop to fix the problems? Let me know ASAP. Thanks!

ok folks something fishy here!:boink: I was going to buy this car. I was the first person to contact the seller. I had a friend in the bay area that talked to the seller and was going to go meet him and check the car over. That was last night. He was going to do a compression check and everything.
Long and short of it was the seller wanted to meet my friend around the corner from his house? When my friend went over to the location the seller never showed up and he was not answering his phone. My friend left messages , I left messages. I even emailed him to see what had happened. No response. Tonite I figured I would try calling again. I called about a hour and a half ago . His roomate answered I asked for the seller . He said hold on then came back to the phone and said he was sleeping. I asked do you know when he is going to be up and said well he has to be at work in two hours. so I figured I would wait an hour . I went for my nightly run. When I got back I called again when I asked for the seller the person on the other end of the phone hung up.Now this is getting wierd so I called back and got his message machine .
Needless to say . If he sold it to someone else or changed his mind all he would have to do is say so.
I am starting to suspect this is some kind of scam. As our cars have been getting more popular there has been a influx of flaky people and thiefs.
I usually do not post publicly about this kind of thing its not the first time I have ran across it of late. A guy back east emailed saying he had a car for sale. He sent a pic of a nice 91 White fastback. Said he wanted $1000 for it . I sent an email saying if he could do it for $1500 delivered I would take it. I wanted to see the engine because he said it ran. So I had him send me pics . He sent me a pic of a S13 Blacktop SR in a S14 engine bay all nice and clean with a SR20swap custom hotpipe on it. He also said the only payment he would take was western union . HHAHAHAHA scam alert all the ebay scammers use western union because when you send someone cash through western union its like handing someone cash there is no paper trail. Money gone poof!!!!! On top of that he had a Madison ave address in New York City . If anyone here knows anything about New York City Madison ave is pretty much solid business district all the way down. I have kept his email the phone number he gave and all the pics and I am thinking of contacting the postal service about his attempt to commit wire fraud and mail fraud.
its_big45 maybe on the up and up and just be a big flake but I tell you I get funny feelings the way the situation is currently.
I do hope I am wrong but thought I would give fair warning.
Again I would not post something like this unless it happened I do not like people spreading rumors based on hearsay. This is the chain of events so far , make of it what you will.
