View Full Version : corrosion protection on fasteners

Just seeing if anybody knows of a method to corrosion protection fasteners that you can do at home. I saw a guy on here from the UK, with a blue-ish kouki 200sx, electroplating his fasteners; so may be, if you see this PM me or if anybody can remember his name I will look for him.

What type of metal is the fastener? Plating it with another metal might make it resistant to corrosion, but if it is touching any other metal, the other metal will then begin to corrode first . . .

HAHA, that will only last for so long. I would rather use a low/lower maintenence method.

EDIT: NVM, his name on here is Petrol if anybody else cares.
