Ok, I need to get myself something to replace my old nasty cat. Preferably something with a 3 inch diameter (it's a turbo). I don't really want to put a cat in... I was thinking that there might be something I could put in there that I could pass off as a cat, like a resonated test pipe or something... I've seen them on projectsilvia.com.

If there is a good high flow cat, though, I'd be up for putting one of those in. I don't really know anything about different Cat designs, I just know that I've seen them range quite a bit. Anyone got any info to help me out, or reviews?

I have a 2.5" from catco off of summitracing.com not sure but they might offer a 3"er. It didn't do horrible things to the exhaust note, then again, im n/a so who knows with a boost setup.

If it's a street driven car, I say get a high flow unit. I believe enjuku has a 3" catco for just over $100 (not bad considering a test pipe is more than half that). For the minimal perfomance loss and huge environmental impact, I say keep it, not to mention the outragous fines if you get caught, as minimal as the risk may be (though if you're ever driven behind an non catylized car it's pretty obvious).

I have one of the resonated test pipes form project silvia, if your not concerned about getting busted for no cat i'd suggest that. Very quality piece for only 80$, and it gets here in like 3 days.

Hmm... maybe I'll just go with the catco.
