Long story short I was attempting to go KA-T, kit ended up being bad. Decided to stay NA, in the process EGR was removed but problem is I don't think it was removed properly.

First, here is a picture of the part that I KNOW is suppose to be blocked off on the manifold so that seems right.

Second, I absolutely have no idea what this is but I'm pretty sure it had to do with the EGR system and the next thing I'm going to show.

Third, if I understand correctly. The hoses connect to the thing in picture number 2. I don't know why the have screws in them NOR do I know what they serve a purpose for.

Fourth, the two things my fingers are pointing at, are the two same hoses in picture number 3. This is right under the intake tube.

Fifth, this picture right here is something I don't think might be important but its possible that it could. It is located to the RIGHT of the upper radiator hose. I don't have the proper intake tube so this connects to anything... COULD leaving this open cause any running problems also?

ALSO I HAVE A VIDEO that could help and show you what is exactly happening to the car.

It's been awhile since I had my s13 so I'm basing it off memory. The egr looks blocked off ok. Try taking some brake cleaner and spray around the egr plate. Idle should not raise. If it raises, a vacuum leak is present. Do that around the engine to make sure no leaks are present.
Sencond, the looks like the egr solenoid. If you don't have the egr on (which you should as there is no point to remove it, it doesn't increase power since egr is only working when you're on light cruise, not full power) then you don't need it. Make sure the nipples are plugged on the engine side.
Third, those little hose I believe are for the charcoal canister (again, light cruise and no real performance robbing system, should be hooked up again).
Fourth, the big hose is a intake silencer. Does nothing if left open. Just attaches to the fan shroud, correct?
I can't see what your temp gauge is doing. Your weird idle drop is
most likely from having those items disconnected as they turn on on decel (at least canister purge does, I think egr too).

thanks pacman for the help, but the thing is. I don't have anything else to complete the egr system. the main purpose for removal of the EGR was for me to go KA-T, but I threw everything away. So what do I do to the EGR solenoid if I'm not going to keep it connected?

Where does the top vacuum hose from the EGR go?
