So this is my little project, i have been working on it lately but i have't driven it at all it just sits for now but anyways, here are my mods
ENGINE
blacktop S13 SR20det
gt28rs
emance ecu tuned for 550cc, z32, gt28rs
nismo adj. FPR
3 in. elbow, downpipe etc...
greddy FMIC
KOYO aluminum radiator
DSS 1 piece driveshaft
i think thats about it...
I was only running on 1 cylinder after everything was wired up initially and that told me that it was the wrong harness so i swapped out my wire harness because i have a E5 ecu thats chipped and the harness i had was for a newer 180sx with a J4 ecu. So i got a new engine harness from nissan and wired it up, everything is soldered that had to be cut, spliced etc... so now when i start up the car i'm still only on 3 cylinders, if you are looking at the engine from the front of the car the first cylinder, that coil isn't firing?? I switched around the coils and pulled each coil out one by one to see which were bad or not firing for some reason, still the 1st cylinder no matter what coil was on there. I changed the spark plugs and nothing really changed... i have a adjustable FPR but no gauge so i haven't been able to really adjust the pressure but that doesn't explain that cylinder not firing. anybody got any ideas? thanks guys.
