I have a (98)black top with a few mods
fmic
walboro
boost controller
large 'test pipe' exhaust (turbo back)

My t25 is pooped. I like the idea of a smaller (less expensive), more responsive turbo running 280(ish)hp rather than upgrading to something huge running at half capacity. Not to answer my own question but probably i need..
s14bb t28
550 fuel inj
bov

im confused about..

the oil lines to make this happen, i know kits exist but there seems to be a glut of choices..

At this power/mod level should I go standalone or just do safc or similar...I dont plan on going too much further than this power level in the future..if at all.

Are there other turbo options that are close to the 275-325 mark? Just like most everyone else im trying to go as inexpensively (but NOT cheap) as possible, hense the modest (but respectable) hp goals and t28 plans..Thanks for any help, and YES I DID SEARCH, but i couldn't find many builds that were simple enough for what im asking. Thanks again...

You answered your own question, that s15 turbo is good for 320whp iirc.... the stock oil and water lines will bolt up just fine... and as for a tune go with a reflash (enthalpy is most popular)

Your Half wrong
I wouldnt say 320, 300ish

Go ahead and get some Steelbraided lines, you will also need the S14/S15 oil dain pipe/hose

This shits been covered for years, if still unsure..... Search

another thing to note is that you will need an oil restrictor. the stock S-13 uses a restrictor in the banjo bolt an is too big for a BB turbo (s15 turbo).

you can eithor source a banjo bolt from an s-14/15 sr with correct size restrictor OR source an AN fitting for the block (pegasusauto has them) and get the correct restrictor (240sxmotoring has those) and just use a SS line for the oil feed line.
