Drifting on stretched tires?

plan on running 225/40/18 on 18x9.5

the setup you are planning on running isnt even a big stretch

does it make since to me? not really. i cant stand a stretched front tire on my car.. the car has no forward bite and the front isnt as responsive to input as it is with say a 225 40 on a 17 x 9 VS say a 205/40..

what tire size would you suggest for 18x9.5? because i was gonna put the 225/40 on my fronts actually. also, what tire size would you suggest for the rears?

i'm just tryin to make it look kinda flush and at the same time be able to drift without worrying

stretching tires creates a stiffer sidewall.

having a stiffer wall makes it easier to break traction.

oh and i forgot to mention that i'm drifting a bone stock KA24DE. trying to get better and have a good tire/suspension setup to get the most out of a stock dohc

Youll be fine, less tire on the ground, less resistance, easier to break loose.
