Went to start my car, and i put the key in and turn it to accessory while putting my seatbelt on(harness.) and all the lights, radio everything came on, then when i went to start the car it all went blank and nothing happened. So i got out and checked the battery and the termials had some corrosion on them, so i took them off and cleaned them with a wire brush and still had the same problem. Jump started it and it started right away and i drove to a friends house, on the way there i had the radio on and everything was normal, no dimmed lights or anything like that. Left there tonight and had to jump start it, while driving down the road I turned the cd player on and it still had everything from last night saved(song position, eq levels) then when i got home, i turned the car off, and then tried to turn it back on, and it cranked..twice.
what could the issue be? I dont wanna go outside tomorrow for work and the car not turn over.

check your battery date, if its 5 year oldish get a new one... Also after the first time jumpstarting it you shoulda drove it for at least 30mins or so to let the alternator charge the battery up. Then after that try cranking it again to see if the alternator did its job.
If batterys sit for longer than usual (mainly older ones), they sometimes tend to not crank the car after sitting. I dont know if yours did that or not... Basically run the car for a while and see if the alternator does its job, if not new alternator, if so check if its an old battery

I'll check the date, and I drove about 15-20 minutes, and it say about 4 hours..thats the weird part.

Check Starter Wire on the lower harness.Mine was real loose and would come off the Tab on the starter sometimes and have a similar issue.

hook up a volt meter to your battery terminals while cranking the engine, the reading shouldn't drop below 10 or 11 amps. If it does then I'd start with your battery, but like what ghudson said, it may also be your alternator not working properly, so you're essentially powering the entire car directly from the battery and draining it. Also check your ground points.

Your battery is done, time for new battery. It has some juice in there but not strong enough to start the engine. Its not the alternator since you drove to your friend's house w/ radio on. If it was the alternator you wouldn't be able to drive anywhere (i learned this hard way)
