FWD SR20, not 100% sure about that. But I can assure you it's not an S13/S14 SR!

Looks to me like a RWD SR also. theres no oil line at the bottom of the block from your turbo

it's hard to tell, it looks like an s13 fwd sr20det. , yes i don't see an oil drain line in the block, but there is that metal pipe up top for the catch can. on the left side of the block it looks like the oil feed line for the turbo is there, but it looks like the coolant feed off the side of the block is blocked off by a screw or something, it's hard to tell from your picture cause it's too far away.
however also on the left side of the block towards the back there's some mounting threaded holes which i KNOW a rwd s13 sr20det doesn't have. those are probably for the cv axle bracket for that side.
again it's hard to tell cause the pics are too far away, if you can confirm the oil feed passage and coolant feed passage then it's turbo, if they're blocked off then it's just a 92 se-r sr20de.

Wow you guys actually sound like you know what you are talking about which I have found to be very rare for my situation! Well if I take closer pictures will you guys be able to know for sure? If you just tell me what you need a picture of I'll take it:). And I was also told it could be from an AWD bluebird... But what I don't get is if it really matters whether it was built FWD or not cause it's bare block I just don't see how it would matter cause wouldn't what I do to the block and what car I put it in make it a RWD? And I plan on Turboing it and using it too drift which obviously requires it to be RWD. I'm sorry if these are stupid questions I'm new to Japanese motors. Japanese cars and drifting. Plus all of the cars I have worked on have been rwd or just stereo installs for friends I'm just trying to understand wether I need to throw it or keep it.

That aint no RWD SR, its an N/A FWD SR, look at the coolant hose routing and the oil filter block is in the wrong spot
Along with the turbo oil drain and coolant feeds are not tapped
and not to mention the Starter bolt area

Water pump bolts are different also

Basically Throw that shit in the Garbage, Or recycle it

>_<
if you have a b13 or b14 sentra you COULD still build it and turbo it, but honestly man...picking up a complete long block, or even a blown long block will supply you with all the other parts you need, then you could rebuild that...
you could try to see if that block will bolt up to an sr rwd transmission...but i doubt it.
best of luck,
Dave

Engine Mount Locations are for FWD.
Oil filter mount is in FWD location
NA as the Turbo lines aren't drilled.
Block Code is an Early 90's. Need the head to know exactly what it is. Hell, if you had the internals you could tell by the pistons.

I just don't get why you wouldn't be able to tell from the block serial number still but o well. If it's FWD it doesn't matter anyway

Cause that block was used on about 20 different SR20 variants. The differences are in the Head and Internals. Nether of which you have.

Anybody else notice the starter mount area? RWD starters doesnt mount to the block, it mounts to the transmission bell housing.
