are all S14 clusters the same?

I read somewhere that the zenki and kouki clusters are slightly different. 1 has 4 plugs, while the other has 3. I have one for sale locally and just wanted to make sure before I picked it up.

Connectors are different, not sure about the pinning. Either way it's not a simple take one out, put the other in.

Correct, the Zenki cluster has four plugs, Kouki has three, and they're a completely different type of plug. You need them and a length of harness to interchange.
