so the right rear bearig on my 240 is on its way out... so much noise and wheel movement that i cant drive the dam car.. feels like the wheel will fall out.. i hit a curb a while back and for the time seemed fine.. but as i slamed the car another inch the bearng just went out.. so i did some shoping around and cant find a bearing thats less then 129 for 1, and thats just the bearing, no hub.. Checked out the ever so trusty ebay and bam!! hubs and bearing for booth wheels for 150$ shipped.. now im almost pozitive those are garbage but anybody ever used them? worth spending the moneyz? any info, ideas very apreciated

The general consensus is that the ebay conversion hubs are pretty much junk. You'd really be better off getting a used one from a pick and pull yard (you're in south florida, somebody has to have one) or going with a real OEM one.

Most would say go oem. If you get those I would get some better grease and repack them. Your current bearing could just need repack/retorque.

you'll just end up doing it again.
You can get junkyard parts for less and probably have less of a chance of having to replace them.

yea thats the conclusion im coming to.. now the wheel woble... that would be caused by the bearing being bad right?

so the issue was that the nut that holds the axle was not tightened all the way and that caused the woble and the premature wear of the bearing.. so ended up replacing the rear bearing/hub from a 91 300zx NA, and now drives awesome;)
happy didnt get those crappy ebay bearings
thx guys
