I recently tried to put on my ruca and it hits my coilovers, specifically the collar. I tried to mount it with the open side facing forward and backwards, both with the suspension jacked up. I am running Stance al+pro and the coils are set to full low, all collars are touching. These coils have a helper spring and if I remove the helper spring, set it at the height I want than it clears. Does anyone here run a coilover with a helper spring, set to full low, and pbm ruca? Please explain what you did to install these ruca to clear the coils. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mostly, PSM advises that you use their coilovers as well. Teins wont work either. I say take the helper spring out.

is this an S13... they just finish a revision of the s13 RUCA to allow more clearance, allowing use with a wider range of coilovers
For those of you with S13 and really lame coilovers that are not full tap, like Tein HR or Really fantastic coilovers with fancy helper springs like Ohlins, I present to you MAX RUCA IV.
This next version shown in these test fit photos has more room on the inside of the revised bend to work with more coilovers out there.
Release date is unknown, but since tests were successful, we will proceed with manufacturing for sure.
Special thanks to Mr. Ever Reve for the testing.

That's probably because you DON'T have helper springs.
My SPL used to hit my Tein Super Drifts.
I just let it hit until it cleared. LOL.

That happened to me too. From hitting a pothole on the street.
I took the broken one to a 4x4 shop and stuck a solid rod through both pieces so i could still drive around until i got the new rodend.
