I'm having trouble removing the eccentric washer off of the eccentric bolt on the chassis side of the rear upper control arm. I've tried spraying it with Freeze Off (similar to PB Blaster) and hammering the end of the bolt to try to get it to slide out, and also tried to pry the washer off with an allen screwdriver.

I'm thinking that I need to twist the washer off the bolt because it's stuck from being twisted onto the wrong side of the eccentric bolt, but I'm not sure how I should go about doing that.. Or maybe a torch would do?

Anyways here's a pic for better reference:

just put the nut back on it, and then hit it with a hammer. That'll jar it loose without a dount.

If not, just crank the actual bolt in the wrong direction...it will spin the entire slotted washer and eventually come free.

i had the same problem on my s14. Just put a socket on the bolt head and jam a screwdriver behind the washer thats on the end of the bolt. it has a little tooth that goes in the slot of the bolt. Turn the bolt untill the tooth is in that slot then remove the washer.

That happens when idiots overtighten the eccentric bolt. The best way, since the bolt is already damaged, is to beat the bolt out from behind, the washer will stay in place against the subframe, forcing the bolt out.

Well, I finally got it out.. I just used a little bit of all the advice you guys gave me and it happened to finally loosen up and slip out. I found out that the washer is badly damaged; the protruding part of the inner side of the washer was pretty much jammed into the threads of the bolt, but was able to loosen up from being so worn out and flattened.
