View Full Version : embarrasing, but i gotta know: how the hell do i get my fender off? 97 s14

ill be searching while this is posted, but so far nothing has helped.
i un did all obvious bolts.
i just dont know what is holding it on by the side marker/ headlight area.

ive looked and cant tell.

so i undid the one by the door, the two behind the skirt, the 3 on top, and the one on the underside near the front of the car.

what more needs to be done?

there might still be one in on the inside of the fender in the middle by the door then just lift the fender up and pull nad if its getting stuck ull be able to see where at

well, how many total bolts do i need to remove, and from where?
that will give me an idea of where the one is missing.

im sure there is not still 1 by the door, it move freely, but doesnt by the side marker.

it almost looks like i would have to remove the front bumper to take it off, but im SURE thats not the case.

check on the inside of the fender behind the fender linner

i would be embarrassed to ask this question too :)
i just ran out to my ZENKI to check.
3 on top, 2 inbetween door and fender, 3 securing the bumper to the fender & 2 securing the bottom of the fender

its about a wire harness relocation but it tells you what to remove

thanks that did it. had to remove the side marker to get to the 3 bolts holding it to th headlight and bumper.

case closed.
