View Full Version : ka24e pulley question
so I have been looking into getting some aftermarket pulleys since I am basically going to rebuild my ka24e...Just wondering if the ka24de uses the exact same pulleys or not. Seems to be plety for the dohc model listed but none specifically for the sohc...they look the same to me but I just want to confirm they are the same.
has anyone used a set of ka24de pulleys on their sohc ka?

Sorry to revive an old thread, but can anyone confirm or deny if the ka e/de pulleys are interchangeable?

I've read claims that the pulleys are not interchangeable. You can understand why I would ask for a confirmation can't you?
Anyways I guess the only way to know for sure is to buy a set and see for myself.
i dont think because the sohc has what seems to be a different looking pully for the power stearing. the one that is like the go around not attached to the pump or the main one but a middle man kinda one...

In case anyone cares, a lightweight set of pulleys for the s13 sr will fit the ka24e. The p/s pulley is about 1/2" smaller in diameter, and all three pulleys are meant to use a four rib belt but your current belts will work. I got all three during the thanksgiving weekend sale for under $60 shipped.
