SR wiring issues

so im in the process of finishing my car, every thing is hooked up blah blah blah, but now im having a electrical problem, its not cranking and the fuel pump is priming, i have every thing grounded and all electrical components hooked up like the starter, alternator, etc. i have tried every thing im stumped.

anyways any advice would be nice.

was your car automatic?

did you just buy it, or have you had the car and it hasn't done this until your swap?

no it wasn't automatic. the car previously had an sr in it. same thing redtop. were trying to figure out the wiring now he fucked with the wiring and now whenever we connect the battery the car cranks. so the starter wires are jumped without the key even in... hmm? also the fuel pump no longer works. if we can get a wiring diagram or know what wires we need to hook up to what other wires (color wise lol i know ground to ground fuel pump to fuel pump) we will be straight. we have done this before but we lost the wiring diagram and can't find it anywhere online. thanks!

sounds like a problem with the lower harness.

two wire grey plug by the fuse box, thick white wire, thick black/yellow stripe.

your black/yellow is your start signal wire. it should only have power when the key's in the start position.

the thick solid white wire should have battery power and ends up going to the charge post on the back of the alternator, then to the fuse box.

sounds like you popped the main 75 amp fuse. you have something hooked up wrong.

start by taking off the lower harness, inspecting it, then carefully reinstalling it being mindful of what you're doing.

the fuse is fine. now we get power again. wtf. but it still just cranks when we connect the battery and the key is not turned. checked the key cylinder and the switch everythings good. hmm... yeah it has to be in the harness but i really dont want to look at it haha... dori you can.

yea im gunna check the lower harness, but i want to re-do the sr ecu harness to the ka chassis plugs, if you know what im talking about, i cant seem to find a diagram, any info would be great.

you can't tell me there's no info on how to wire up an sr in an s13......there's frickin imax 3d how to's for dummies on every nissan forum lol :P

there's also the inhibitor relay by the battery along the passenger fender, it's big blue and has 2 grey plugs going to it. they go bad very often. they usually will just not let the car start....but if no problem is found with the lower harness, that'd be the next place i look. the start signal black/yellow also runs to that.

alright i did a lot of research and gunna go for it again tomarrow, just gunna redo the lower harness, and the the sr ecu wires to the body harness plugs. stay tuned might need some help.

can some one find me the pin out of the ka engine bay plugs, the big gray one and the small brown one?

those 2 plugs are for your ecu, ac, fuel pump, and other engine sensors. they have nothing to do with the starter.

small up date, i found out my car used to be auto, but it used to have a running sr in it. would tht have anything to do with my problem, the car still dosent crank and the fule pump is still not priming. WTF im out of ideas.

well i got it to crank but dosent even try to turn over!!! wtf is wrong with my car!!!!
