yup, i got the black ones on ebay for $200 w/o the 240 motor mounts.... great quality identical to tech2's.....tech2 is the biggest rip off. enough said :)

I wouldnt expect much from them. For $200, theyre good enough to get your motor in and running.. but i wouldnt be surprised if they needed replacement not too far down the road. Solid mounts are a PITA.

okay thats all i wanted to know. Im gonna give them a try. Even if they need replacing down the road it still beats spending as much as the engine costs for mounts. Yes I also think tech2 is a ripoff. Wut do u mean by PITA

and i have a thread in the s chassis forum about the same thing except i'm looking to 1j swap as opposed to 2j but theyr'e the same mounts..

and yes tech 2 is a rip the fuck off but you have to consider you'll need a tranny mount and a one piece driveshaft as well... sooo unless you can find those for less than 1200 bucks individually tech2 is still the best i've found..

but lemee know if you find the shaft and tranny bracket cause i wanna get a move on on my project as well.. gL

it says that the transmission bracket utilizes the original toyota transmission mounts...and i would just buy a driveshaft from tech 2 or something

how do you say these are identical to Tech2's? i have the Tech2 mount kit and it looks nothing like that.

if you can hold off a couple weeks there will be a swap kit coming out by the guys at MyJZswap.com :naughty:

Tech2 is expensive but like someone said, they send you everything you need at one time. Crossmember, mounts, trans mount, driveshaft. that's pretty handy no second guessing and measuring and maybe getting the wrong size.
