Hey its time to give the old girl a turn up. What brands do you guys suggest. My car is a 95 240sx KA w/ 24k. I'm not really looking for anything special, just stuff I can pick up at autozone or whatever. Just wanted to know what branda you guys use the most.

The plug wires I have are the Yazaki L-16's.
Bulletproof.
Got them from the dealer...and they are great.

I was over-charged...but I wanted GOOD wires.
BTW, this is funny..

Now, time to go pull the tranny and put in my new clutch...(roasted it last night)

Well dude, I told all of you I have torque out the a$$. I romped on second just a shade too hard and did not pull the clutch out fast enough and the air between it or something like that caused it to not grab and I roasted it down to the steel instantly. (tach was at 8K). It was sad. It still drives...but I got the d shaft out now, preparing to pull the tranny. I will take some pictures...and especially those of the transmission shock I installed....it is cool.
You would be amused at the smoke and the smell.
240's are careful balancing acts when driving.
Yep, it could not handle it at all.
It all came down to a balance fact.
Here is the therory of why it happened.
First of all, I got a leak in the left rear tire. Had I pumped it up and not forgot, the tire would have taken the punishment and not the clutch...but since the tire was low (12 lbs) it grabbed and the clutch could not hang. So there. Time to get greasy and eat some fried chicken and drink some beer. I hope I can do it before sundown.
The engine horsepower simply OWNED that clutch last night.
I will watch my tire pressure and keep them at 34lbs.
Autozone 105 bucks. Clutch PP and Bearing and pilot tool. Not shabby at all.
BTW, I got me some sandpaper for the flywheel, to resurface it...that will take some time. It is certainly burned and blued.
