Well guys and gals......It's about time I started saying goodbye to my beloved red beauty. It's been a wonderful 2+ years, but the time has come for more performance, so I would like to pass my beauty on to another enthusiast. But with the auto performance shop we're opening, it's time for me to get the KA's bigger sister...don't worry, I'll be staying in the Nissan family and I will still be here--coughZ32cough....

Here is all the info on my car--I have papers on everything but oil changes and brakes--but I do have receipts for the brakes.

I bought this car in April 2001 with 63000 miles. Since then I have replaced--
Transmission Mount--June '01
Clutch master & slave cylinders--August '01
Tires--December '01
Front O2 sensor--February '02
Rear main seal--March '02
Water pump--March '02
Thermostat--March '02
Valve cover gasket--March '02
Timing chains/guides/tensioners--March '02
Clutch/pressure plate/throwout bearing/pilot bearing/resurface flywheel--March '02
Front cover gasket--March '02
Battery--September '02
Air filter with a K&N Filtercharger--October '02
Rear Brakes--OEM replacement pads--February '03
Fuel Filter--April '03
Front Brakes--EBC Greenstuff Performance pads--April '03

The oil is changed every 3k miles with Mobil-1 full synthetic 10w30 in Spring and Summer, and 5w30 in Fall and Winter. I always use a Nissan OEM oil filter.

It has all of the SE options (except LSD/ABS): power windows/locks, cruise, WHITE-FACED GUAGES, rear spoiler, allow wheels, etc. The power sunroof works perfectly and has the tinted air deflector (I think it adds a lot to the look of the car). The window tint is in very good shape--still a deep gray color (not turning purple-ish like most tint does).

The tranny is very easy to shift--synchros are good and tight, no grinding--even when you're pushing this car to the max!! I baby the heck out of this car, but I make sure to "get on it" once in a while to keep the carbon out of the system!!

This car is in absolutely wonderful mechanical shape. The interior still looks near brand new, and the exterior is in very, very good shape as well. This car is ready to mod!! It's screaming for it!!

Asking $8500
She now has 91100 miles on her. There is also a TRANSFERRABLE EXTENDED WARRANTY good through 98979 miles. So, that still 7800 miles under warranty!! Only $100 deductible and you wouldn't believe all the stuff this warranty covers!!

Here is the NADA for my car:
NADA for '96 240sx SE 5-speed (http://www.nadaguides.com/Values/ValueCategoryReport.asp?UserID=540720C719A7A&DID=37785&wSec=1&wPg=1207&CategoryId=2&MakeId=1130&VehicleId=11395&Year=1996&ColorId=)

Like I said before, this car has been meticulously taken care of the entire time I've owned it. Many of the members here have known me since June '01, when I joined not too long after I bought this car. They've seen my posts when I had problems, and they know that I've solved them and had the repaired after getting advice from the awesome people here.

You can contact me by posting in this thread, or you can PM me, or e-mail me at [email protected]

Thank you for your time and consideration!!

EDIT: oops...forgot to put in pics

LOL--I know my muffler in the pic of the rear looks rusty, but most of it is shadowing. It is a tiny bit rusty on the outside, but it does not have a single leak.

Thanks MoJo!! At first, I thought $8500 would have been a bit high, even though the NADA is still $7400, but I already have one person in Texas trying to get financing for $8500 and if he doesn't get it, a guy here in Tulsa may!! So, for anybody who thinks the price is high, the car's been for sale for less than 2 weeks and I already have 2 people wanting to buy it!

Right now I'm looking at a '94 TT Z32 5-speed w/ 85k on it for $13800 (he just dropped from $14500--his wife's pregnant so they have to get rid of the 2-seater). It's black, and I don't really want a black car, but it's absolutely beautiful!!

On my car, I'm currently having the windshield wiper arms repainted black (they were faded) and I will be having my front bumper fixed this week as well (5mph bump into a metal rear bumper mark). One of my front speakers blew this weekend, so I will be replacing that as well before it's sold.

At least I'm honest about my car!! :)

I have a guy in Texas that's trying to get financed for my asking price. If any of you Zilvia'ers are interested, please let me know. This may go through in as early as a week, but it may also take a bit longer, depending on the bank. I'll keep everyone posted on any work done to the car in the meantime.

The windshield wiper arms now look as good as new (they were faded almost to bare metal)--I had them repainted today. Damn it looks good! hehe

Well, it's not exactly a performance shop. We're keeping it on the local low-down right now until we have an exact Grand Opening date. But, I will be able to give you more details and a date in 2 weeks or less. It's gonna be something Tulsa doesn't have right now. :wiggle:

Right now the front bumper cover is off the car and being repaired. It will be fully repainted later this week. I will try to post before & after pics. (if I can get any pics of the scratch before the guy starts working on it)

I'm so sorry I haven't been on here in a while, and I haven't checked my zilvia.net e-mail. I will take pics of the engine this weekend and post them--if you're still interested.

It's not like Extreme Motorrice. We own Tulsa Dyno & Performance at 11th & Mingo--right next to BJ's Cylinder Head Service. We're going to have a Green Country Motorsports DYNO DAY early in October - great prices and lots of fun!! We're still setting up the date. We also have an auto-lift to rent for $10/hour if you need to do any work.

Sorry for the business plug in the FS section.........now, back on topic.......

Broken Arrow is basically Tulsa--about 1 1/2 hour away. I can't believe it's taken two months to get my bumper repainted, but that's what I get for working at a bodyshop and getting it done for a really good deal...lol

I'm sorry I didn't get any pics of my car last weekend - rainy Saturday and we were working on my bf's daily driver all day on Sunday. I will definitely get new pics Saturday, though. Thank you for being so patient. Let me know what day looks good if you would like to come see the car. :)

My car is still for sale, but I am dropping the price because of a squeeking from my subframe bushings. According to the Nissan dealership here, the mechanic (who has done every bit of work on my car and does a check-up on it every six months) said the bushings are worn just enough to make a squeeking noise (sounds like a squeeky strut). Bruce said there is still a LOT of life left in the bushings, they have just compressed a bit.

So, instead of $8500, I am asking $7800, just because of a little noise.

Last week, I put new rear struts on, and put a new muffler on - heat-shield outer layer coating was rusting off of mine, so I gave it a nice shiny new one.

Also, I removed every bolt from the exhaust heat shields and then re-tightened them to get rid of the well-known heat shield rattle.

I also removed the resonator box--that gave the engine a much better sound - actually has a little deeper "growl" to it, and you can feel the powerband MUCH better!

This car has been meticulously maintained for 2 1/2 years. Like I stated above, I take her into the dealership every 6 months for a checkup, to make sure everything still looks and operates perfectly. The only thing wrong with the car is the squeeky subframe bushings.

Thank you for your time.
