for some reason i want to say that this is just a bad idea. i know LED's are awesome but i just dont see them being able to replace the amount of light that a normal headlight bulb would output. if the ONLY place you can find them is on eBay, then id say no, dont do it.

the led bulbs probably wont be any brighter than normal halogen bulbs. go HID

LED headlights are risky. there's warnings about using them as headlights.
Do not use LED bulbs in the same housing with head lamps, the heat will cause them to fail quickly and void the warranty. We warrant all of our bulbs for one full year when if used in normal vehicle applications. We do not warrant our car bulbs when used in applications other than normal vehicle bulb installations or if used in headlamp housings or to replace GM Daytime Running Lights
Some GM vehicles apply a pulsed voltage to the Daytime Running Lights (DRL), this pulsed voltage causes LED bulbs to fail quickly, just as the stock filament bulbs also fail quickly in these DRL installations. Use in these applications voids the warranty.http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/index.cgi?action=DispPage&Page2Disp=%2Fcarbulb-notes.htm (http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/index.cgi?action=DispPage&Page2Disp=%2Fcarbulb-notes.htm)
