So it's been a while since i've been able to legally drive the 240 around the streets of Sac CA. I am so stoked right now and just had to say that even though smog is by far my car's worst enemy, when you finally get that coveted word PASS written up on your smog inspection report it feels freaking amazing. I know a lot of people do the ol' $200 smog, but for me, this was legit which made it all the more enjoyable. I'll maybe do a write up of my story later for some poor soul who is unfortunate enough to throw a f**ing EVAP Canister Purge VOLUME Control Solenoid code P0443. It's one of i beleive 3 purge solenoids and is of course the hardest to get to. It's located UNDER the intake manifold runners and is basically a square peg in a round hole. I was able to "borrow" a freind's 240 which did not have a CEL on and swapped his part into mine haha. Anyhow, I'm back cali and can't wait to see my fellow 240 owners out there! :naughty:
Congrats dude!
I remember the first time I got smogged, it felt good to pass.
Now I'm KA-T and can't pass legally. :\

my cressida didnt pass smog (needed a new EGR valve), so I decided instead of sourcing that lil guy to pass, i shoved a bolt in one of the vacuum lines to hold the valve to pass smog. it barely worked, but it worked.
