okay.. the lady's insurance will pay for the damages..
the car is being towed to a local honda dealer for an estimate
do you think the car will be junk? or not?
according to bluebook.. his car worth 5000-5500

base on those pics. the damage isn't too bad and i think it is repairable. how much it is going to cost, that's a different story.

I would hope for a total and then try to buy back the salvage and part it out or swap parts onto another integra.

The damage doesn't look too bad, probably due to the spin, but the frame could still be bent or possibly some serious alignment/ suspension issues since I doubt that side panel took all the abuse.

his frame or radiator support looks tweaked since the headlights don't line up right...granted there is no connection to the fender anymore, but that should not effect how the alignment is. i've had similar damage to my teg and it costed arodun $4500

umm, looks like a fender bender. i doubt that would cause frame damage. maybe a little axel damage

That's like what, 80-100 bucks? You could even make your own for about 2 bucks if you wanted.

I had a 95 integra that was t-boned in an intersection 2 years ago which didn't look much worse and it was totaled. Judging by the arc in the strut bar I'd say that it's twisted pretty bad. The insurance compnay will total it out and then you could buy it back from them for probably 500$, but may not be worth it. If you really wanted an integra you could find an LS with minor body damage and spend that money on a turbo. Way more fun.

Definitely not worth it if the frame is bent and someone wanted to rebuild it, but if the car is mostly intact, it would be a great idea to buy it back for $500 and then part the entire car out. That's exactly what I would do. You could easily make back the money you spent on getting the car out of the salvage yard, and a lot more.
