sweet car looks clean.... what rpm do you hit full boost at? any dyno numbers? ever done a "hail mary" dyno run? i've been hearing mixed reviews about bigger holset turbos in general and just want more data. free bump glws

full boost right now 14psi, and the motor gets there about 3,700 rpm. 21psi would come around 3800 rpm. I have never done a hail mary high HP dyno run. for this car with conservative settings I see no reason 400whp @ 20psi on 91 oct could be obtained. I dont know what you would do with it as 1st and 2nd gear are already slippery @ 14psi even w/ the diff and nice rear tires, but to each their own. Anti lag would remove lag with lower rpm shifts and launches, but I dont use that feature of the haltech. IMO there is nothing better then high quality OE parts, and the holset has worked and is working flawlessly for me. The key is to find the correct variation holset and properly rebuild before use as most of them are high milage.

Dyno numbers I only have for 12psi and with some different parts, which was 290whp on dyno dynamics at impulse engineering. This was when the entire tune was done, afterwards I changed the wastegate, entire exhaust, as well as some other things. Then had the tune touched up for increased fuel demands of 14psi. I dont have dyno #s as this was done on street just to clean things up a bit by my tuner Bucky. The fuel and ignition timing maps are inplace to run to 20psi conservatively.

who wired up your haltech and tuned?

ImpulseCars

All wiring and all of the tune was done by Bucky while @ impulse engineering. He took a long time with it, everything is heat shrink/soldered/grouped within expandable mesh sleeves by function. All the sensors/injectors/coil packs are quick release clips. He did an excellent job, I highly recommend him.

Bucky also did my RB in my S14 if it's the same guy. He does amazing work, this car definately wont have major problems. I would recommend him as well. Bump for a legit car!

timing now set through 19psi, don't have a dyno sheet so if you're sceptical I understand. but injector duty cycles support a 400rwhp output, and theres always room for more if you want. But dont take my word for it, come feel for yourself.
