I flipped my wheels

The wheels came on the car when I got it and everybody at the shop talked me into flipping them so I had the centers powdered then milled down and had the wheel polished.
Tell me what you think just don't be to hard on me!

16x8 r and 16x7.5 f. They look good but like I was saying there just for looks not the track.

Sorry I put this in the wrong topic. My bad.

I will be putting new finders on the front and rear as soon as I get them in and put on the car I will get some new photos up. As what they look like now--- they stick out about 3" out side the car.

found out today the wheels are Watanabe rs8's looked at the part # on the one before he polished it off to night.

Here are some photos of the car the day I got it at the persons house. It's a shell now with a cage.... I will keep you up to date with the build. This will be a track car when I get it all done. No DD here.

Isnt that gonna look a little "off" having the faceplate mounted on the very back of the wheel? I would like to see a picture of it from the back. I'm sure from the side it looks like you have 14" wide wheels on the car with that kind of lip, but from the back they just looked super spaced out. Like I said, I wanna see a pic. I'm not saying its going to look like this, but this is what I assume it will look like.

hopefully, you will just use it for shows and not on actual roads. I had a 3 pc rims flipped and I used it on public roads. It was torqued and set correctly but after a couple of months of use they came apart while driving, luckily I was just on a side street.

It seems that the rims was not designed for what I did, and created extra stress on the bolts and the whole structure of the rims was compromised. So, just a heads up, don't want your rims coming apart on freeway speeds creating an accident.

I am putting bolt on flares.

The wheels will be just for looks, I will be running other wheels wile on the track. I wont be driving the car to much out on the road, I think at the most like 4 miles up the road to the shop.

It will look like the wheels are spaced out from the back if you jack it up, the car is so low to the ground you can't see the tires to much with the body kit on it.
