I am going to do a Silvia conversion

I am buying a 95 240sx (s14) with front end damage. You can see the pictures if you goto this..

I am planning to fix the frame, take it to a body shop, and that's it, then I will put on a conversion, I was thinking of the s14a conversion, but then, I said to myself, why not just do s15! It'll look so much nicer, and probably have to spend a lot of money anyways. The hood, passenger fender, headlights, are all messed up on the car, so yeah, s15.. Where can I get all this done, I havent seen any specific company names I should look up or call, I am located in San FRancisco, California.
Pretty much just looking for how much it'll cost to get a s15 front end on my 95 240sx. Thanks everyone! I ahve been reading this forum for 2 days now, and did the searches, lots of different answers. So I would like to talk to a comapny or a representative.

So what do you want us to do about it?? I think Koguchi's 180 is ****ing sweet but I don't post about it. Do a search on this forum, and perhaps freshalloy.com. Oh and even try google. Just start off typing in "S15 silvia conversion" see what is involved, how much time and money it takes, and if you're still interested and are capable of doing the swap then do it. Later be a whore like nite kids and post pics of the completed swap. Don't mean to be rude, but you just have to look around and I gaurantee you will find ALL the information you need. I do. :bash:

so that's... $2550 to $3050 without shipping just for the parts eh...

it can be had for cheaper. here are my specs

s15 headlights: 650
fenders: 562.50
hood: 562.50
bumper: 475

= 2250 shipped

then i got side skirts and rear bumper so that knocked up the price even more. but yea u get the idea.

its not hard. the only mod u have to do literally is cut two holes into ur chassis. and rewire thats it. and if ur fenders bolt up fine thats it..unless u get some GTP ****.

I think the s15 front is ugly on all cars besides the s15. I would stick with a 97-98 front.

importfan.com or GTP that is, has the kit. your looking at $1800 to $2400 shipped depending on if you included the necessary hardware, example bumber support, any required cutting (if going turbo for plumbing) and so forth.

whats a good body shop in the bay area, probablyu from san jose up to somewhere like sacremento, willing to drive to find a good body shop, and perhaps they could even help me with the s15 conversion

Oh and Im goin to GTP/importfan tomorrow check everything out. And I saw a blue 240 wit a bomex front bumper and s15 conversion, he said it cost 2500 for his ****... so... we'll see how everything goes.. hope to have everything finished soon!

Spend your money on making sure everything is working well. Or else you'll have a new shiny conversion paper-weight. I've been spending most of my money on replacing and maintenance. Well that and rims...and stereo...and tint.

I went to check out the store in Walnut, CA and happy to say I got to see the s13 with the s15 front end conversion...
I got a quote on everything, it came out to be around 1996 without shiipping, i forgot..
hope to get some stuff on the way soon, might install it in LA, or who knows.. maybe in hometown san fran.. anyways, i'll keep u guys updated

i've realized i can find parts a lot cheaper, and theres no reason for me to get all the parts from the same place...
the only part im having trouble finding is the s14 conversion fenders? anyone got any ideas? thanks! and somewhere where i can get the front bumper for a good price, i was thinkin of the bomex or do-luck, or if anyone has any other suggestions for a nice front... maybe Uras ;)

i've got possible answers to your questions. first off are you talking kouki conversion? if so then check here for parts and whereabouts, Zilvia (http://www.zilvia.net/faqs/archive/koukiconversion.asp)
on our very own beloved site. what kind of price range are you looking at? as you saw there were some nice bumbers from GTP (knockoffs), but the do-luck and bomex will run you anywhere from $600 to $1000+ for each part of the kit, of course depending on source. if low price, your best bet is to go with the GTP brand. your last post shows the yokahoma kit, which runs $1375 for that specific S15 front plus shipping, which will be hi since the company primarily sells to japan in japan.
