How do I hookup my S13 SR-swapped climate control in my S14 so that my vents and most importantly my heater work? It's running on the SR ECU.

As far as I know all the lines are hooked up, but the slider and vent selection don't do anything. Only the fan speed knob works.

The engine swap has nothing to do with the climate control. The only thing related is the A/C compressor activation.

Vent position, fan speed, heat are all completely unrelated.

Except for the fact that they're all electrically controlled through the ECU, right?

Can you read?

Nothing about vent position, blower speed, or temperature control is related to the ECU. Nothing.

NOTHING.

The climate control head signals the vent door motors, the blower resistor controls fan speed.

The only thing the ECU does is turn the A/C compressor on and off, based on signal from the climate head, the triple pressure switch, and engine temp/speed.

Ok, so where do I look to track down the vent positions and temperature not changing? I've already swapped through multiple different dash units.

So you can't read or diagnose problems. Awesome. The FSM has a full layout of testing the door motors as well as full wiring schematics, I'd say more likely you have a blown fuse than for both the mode door motor and air mix door motors to have gone bad. But then again, you could have damaged it yourself by just randomly plugging in shit.

They didn't work to begin with when I bought the car. Previous owner said they didn't work for him either, ever. I've checked the fuses, but I'll check them again. I'll run through Diag Proc 2 and see what happens.

Thanks for your help.
