Hi, I'm trying to put my exhaust on right now as we speak. It's a full cat-back. Where the cat-back connects to the catalytic converter, I got one of the nuts off, but the other one is damn rusted on. I sprayed wd40 all over it to get it loose, but still won't budge. Now my nut is all stripped and there's only 2 flat sides to it (top and bottom). I'm trying my hardest to get the nut off without striping those last 2 sides. Can anybody help me out?

Use a breaker bar(right tool for the right job).
Unless your damn sure its totally stripped, then cut the top off and wail on it with a punch and hammer. You could also try removing your cat and then removing the cat from the exhaust and then re-attaching the cat...
Those 2 bolts are a b*tch to get off..........

thanks for the advice. I took the car to my friends house where he had the proper tools to fix my "nub" haha. The nut was so stripped that it's circle now. After about 30 minutes of filing, we used a breaker bar and a cheater bar to get that stupid nut loose. Finally installed the exhaust and :eek2: it sounds SO CRAZY!!! Right now I'm using the silencer it comes with to keep the sound level a little lower, because I know LA cops are :mrmeph: 's. After school's over maybe I'll take off the silencer once or twice to see how the baby really sounds. All I can say is that it's a low low rumble. Oh, btw it's a Blitz NURSPEC Racing exhaust.
