Im starting to shop around for an LSD for my S14.

(no im not going to post more questions about what year J30 vlsd will work. or 1.5 vs 2 way)

Im wondering does anyone know any good places to buy, or know of any deals on an LSD.
I want to get a 1.5 way LSD. But I want to keep the price below $700-$800 if possible. I have seen a couple for around $500, but thats not very often so that makes me question it.
I would go for other options if I found a good deal.

Enjuku Racing has some Kaaz 1.5 and 2-way LSDs in the neighborhood of $800. Maybe you can call them and Racist Remark Removed them down to $750 or something.

That, or look for a used one. Used LSDs can range from $300 to probably $600 or so, depending on the condition. SEARCH!

Doesn't take long for the idiots to come out of the wood works and throw their 2 cents in.

OP wants a 1.5-way LSD.

Pretty sure he would have welded his diff already if that's what he wanted, instead of logging onto a forum and asking about a 1.5-way LSD.

1.5 is the way to go. you get alittle bit of everything in a sense. 2 ways are fun but do have some annoyances.

brand new kaaz will be about 750-800
nismo around 1k
tomei around 1k

buy used and it wll be in your price range just make sure the back lashing is still within manufacture spec.

Hahah, no kidding. The OP obviously has enough money to buy a 1.5. I'm all for welded diffs, but if you can afford a 1.5way/2 way, do it.

It IS about to break off.

Where do you think the stresses and tension go when you go around tight corners, other than the tires?

i have a welded diff and it just takes some getting used to for daily driving. welds are usually pretty strong depending on your mig welder. i just give it a little more gas than usual around corners so i dont hear all the bad chatter and clunking. even with a 2-way you will have noise like a welded.
