I've got huge plans for the car. I'll update you guys as I do the project. I'm taking a loan out for the engine and all the mods so it should be done by summer's end. My goal is 300 hp and approx. 290 tq to the wheels...

Apex'i GT Spec 3 inch...was going to get a greddy DD but this one is new and compatible with the swap so I'm keeping it.
He took the pedals off before he sold it - saved me some time ;)
It has tokico shocks and Eibach sportlines - nice ride, keeping that too because I don't want to spend 1100 on Teins.
C's short throw shifter, momo knob, injen cold air intake(not that it matters)
edit: put stock corners back on when I got home from california

I've seen your car before on here (never posted anything because I didn't have my car yet). I like it, except the front bumper...but opinions make the world turn, so whatever. Love the exhaust! I found this car after looking everyday for a month (ebay, autotrader up to 400 miles away, sites, etc.) Found it on 240sx.org and had my best friend who just happened to be in LA (without me knowing it) check the car out. Flew over, bought the sumbitch for 10k and drove the thing home. I was in an integra that ended up costing 26,000 dollars over 4 years of modification with nothing really to show. I'm doing this one right - taking out the loan for the mods, doing it, driving it in a completed state, selling it in a few years and movin' on up! Haha
It's a 98 btw.

Bumper is comming off very soon. I've been lazy on picking up my new bumper from Sam at Jspec.com. Even though he's 10 mins from me.

Why are you taking out a loan?

Some people have a hard time saving 5k to mod their cars :bash: Plus if they're not in the military they don't have random sums of cash drop in their laps

I ended up spending so much money on my Integra (26 grand of mods alone) over four years and have nothing to show for it today but a car that will sell for 6 grand tops. If i do the entire project in a summer, I can enjoy the car for a couple years, sell it for a decent price and start over on something better. I turned 20 last week and I'm only a junior in college so this will be a pretty good deal for me to build credit and have a hot car.

personal loans are great. i crashed my daily driver in dec, had my s13 beater, slowly getting that back on the road, read an add for a real cheap s14, needed 4g fast, bam, i have the s14, the loan is almost payed off( making mad payments). and my credit is good, but will be even better when its paid off within 3 months, leaving me in good standing when i try to buy a condo in nov

simply: needed money, bank gave, i payed back, credit was good, i can buy a house

How many miles did it have when you picked it up?

The car has 95k miles on it, which doesnt matter because it looks near perfect. Taking out loans to do mods is a fabulous idea...it'll save money in the long run and I can have what I want now.

wow 5K miles and it looks sooo clean.
Very nice buy, don't do any body mods, that stock lip will set you apart from a lot of people. Very nice.

Good luck with the loan.

VERY NICE and CLEAN, keep it that way~!!
There are very few people that would keep the car that clean and stock ~! WITHOUT ANY STICKERS and bodykits. GJ .

Thanks for all the comments guys...I called Volk and I can get 18x9 / 18x8 Gram Lights custom colored to match the car, with polished lips, of course. That and tint, then the exterior is done. Definately keepin' it clean!
