s14 q45 rear swap?

hey everyone i just picked up a 98 s14 and the guy gave me a q45 rear. i have a vsld in it now but it doent seem to lock hard. could that be fluid or is it just the vlsd?
but anyways i got this q45 and i was wondering what all i need for it to go into a s14? i hear about axles but am wondering if thats just for the s13. if someone could lmmk what i have to do or get for this swap to happen thanks

Also a VLSD will never lock unless you shim the diff, at which point you might as well have gone with a welded diff.

The fluid in a VLSD is inside a non-serviceable sealed unit. VLSD diffs use plain GL-5 gear oil.

q45 diff swap will require everything hub to hub, plus a drive shaft. EVERYTHING is bigger for the q diff.
