im new... so now that thats out the way!! haha

i just put a z32 on my s14 sr20de+t and it does not run right at all. its supposed to be set at 4in 5out on my safc2 but it will not stay running with that setting. so as a temporary setting so can drive(its my dd) its at 4in 6 out and runs like crap, it sputters around 2500 to 4000 with like under 50% throttle and it barely idles.

im pretty positive its hooked up right but it doesnt run like it supposed to and i dont have a clue why..... the maf i had before was s13sr20det maf and theres no setting for it with my motor but i still had it running fine with 3in 5out but it idle'd at 2000rpm. that was the reason i bought a z32....

anyone understand what i just typed that can help me??? please help!!! haha

thats all i found it to be..... if the maf hookup isnt the problem what could be the problem?

no couplers are loose.

could a vacuum leak do it? under my manifold i have a open vacuum line that sucks in that is open.... but if i plug it it doesnt make a difference

A leak is a leak, it may not make a difference at idle, but itll make a big difference once you're in boost.

Anyways, like stated, try 2-5 or 2-6.
