S13 KA. Match the sender to the engine for the ECU, sender to the chassis for the gauge.

S14 sensor should work. You match the sensor with the gauge cluster you are using. You sure you swapping out the right sensor?!?! There are 2 sensors on top of the water pump housing, swap out the 1 wire sensor with your S14 KA one.

The 2pin temp sensor for the ECU or the 1pin thermal transmitter for the gauge cluster?

I bought a coolant temp sensor for a 92 KA, tried to put it in my blacktop sr but the threading on the sensor isnt the same as the threading I have inside the bank. Its the two pin ecu sensor. Help fast so I can get this done tonight. Also, the connector works but I cant get it to thread into the motor....http://www.autozone.com/autozone/catalog/parts/partsProduct.jsp?itemIdentifier=195753_0_0_&skuDescription=Duralast+/+Coolant+Temperature+Sensor&brandName=Duralast&displayName=Coolant+Temperature+Sensor&categoryNValue=&sortType=&store=1311&isSearchByPartNumber=&fromWhere=&fromString=&counter=0&itemId=113-0&navValue=15900113&filterByKeyWord=&productId=195753&searchText=&categoryDisplayName=Engine+Management&parentId=59-0
