She drove all the back from KY to Wi, 7hrs, no problems. The fender and the hood DO need to be replaced but thats not that big a deal.

A couple questions though if anyone is so inclined to answer. The shifter shakes quit a bit. Anyone know what would be causing that.
And I know I'll probablt get really flamed for asking this but. How do I tell if what model it is and if it has LSD if its not on the back of the car. Go ahead flame away.

The shifter shakes because it's bolted directly into the transmission. So, as the engine and transmission vibrate, so does the shifter. If it bothers you, harder engine mounts will square this up, but they'll make the rest of the car vibrate more in turn.

S13? S14? If it's not an '91-'93 S13 SE/LE with SuperHICAS and ABS, or an S14 SE/LE with ABS, then you have an open diff, with 99% certainty.

Awsome that sums up that. Thanx AKAdriver. Its a s13 1990 so it doesnt have LSD then. Ok. My favorite part is I only payed $1600. If the fender and hood were fixed I could easily get $3000plus for it. But I'm not gonna turn around and sell it.

I did this above procedure when i first got my car. Sadly the other wheel DID turn the opposite way and I'm still coming out of the depression......

I hate open diff so much.

If you're going that far, just look for the orange sticker on the unit itself.

But it's a 1990 so why bother? It doesn't have one!
