89/93 engine bay fuse boxes

are there any differences im putting a 93 DOHC in an 89 that has the stock fuse box in the engine bay do i need the 93 chassis harness as well or is there a way to do it with out switching that

There are many variations of body and engine harnesses in S13 due to different options.

You have to trace out every single wire on the DE engine that needs to mate to the body harness and find the appropriate location on the body harness.

Generally most of your work will be done under the dash and near the battery.

2 plugs plug in right by the battery and i know the rest will on the engine/trans /starter and al lbut the fuse box area is where its like uhh wtf kinda deal

It's not that bad. The dash plug is different so you'll need to mate to the single cam dash plug.

The battery are and lower harness you will just have to go through one wire at a time. You cannot match up by plugs because Nissan reuses the plugs but moves wires around.
