Hi everyone. Ive just received my Origin +20 front fender for my 90 240. Im having serious alignment issues and need some insight or ideas.
I began by aligning the fender and then drilling oversized holes along the top edge to provide a little play room. the front appears to align ok and then as it gets to the back corner the hood has a large gap. the line going down the door is even but does not provide enough clearance for the door to open with out making contact. Ill let the pics talk. Make all the fun you want, but in the end im trying....

Heres what i got.
Heres the top look...

Heres the grand canyon of a gap...

Heres the minimal door clearance...

And finally the headlight region...

My instinct is telling me that the hood might be skewed but ive never noticed that much before and again ANY insight is welcome.....

So you expected it to fit perfect? Fiberglass almost always needs to be worked on so that it fits properly. I would suggest taking this it a professional who's done fiberglass body kit installs before.

they all usually have bad gaps where they meet the hood

go to autozone or a auto paint store and buy some sandpaper and some resin and fiber glass mat. Start sanding down the edges that fit too tight and try to make it even.
