spongy brake pedal

my car sat outside last night and then today and when i went to start it it had trouble at first but then started, its runs fine and all that. im assumeing it was just because it got really cold. but im haveing a problem with my brakes. the pedal is really spongy now, i checked the fluid, it was about halfway between low and max, so i toped it off. i drove for about an hour and the pedal is still spongy. i checked the fluid again when i got home and it was still at the max line. i dont know if i have a broken line, if it was just so cold that the fluid started to freeze, or maybe its my master cyl? i checked all 4 corners of the car, i cant find any evidence of a broken line. the master cyl isent leaking. i dont really know were to start with it. its in my garage right now. maybe it just needs to thaw out a little bit. i want to try and figure it out tommarow if i can. but like i said, i dont even know were to start. the pedal was fine before. any insight would be awsome. thanks in advance.

maybe ,u got air in ur system bleed brakes... that should help

thats what im gunna try first. im hopeing thats the issue. im not really in a position to fork out money for brake issues.. but i suppose nobody ever really is.

i would def try bleeding the brakes a few times, to see if that helps at all, if not then it might be time for a new BMC

im thinkin its the master. but im hopein for the best. ill bleed them some time today when i get home.

This just happened to me, the pedal goes all the way to the floor, it was working throughout the day then when it became night, they decided to start to fail on me.
