What's the deal with the uneven shoulder bolsters on the Artis II and Artis II Navi?

I see that the outside bolster is bigger than the inside... I suppose it's to leave your shifting/handbraking arm free?

yeah. left and right side i believe.

Yup. It actually feels pretty nice. The inside bolster is like the Exas and the outside bolster is like the Zeta. For LHD cars, you use the Artis 2 Navi (as in navigator) for the driver's seat since the navigator would sit on the left side in a Japanese RHD car.

I could just smack the shiot out of everyone's price and say $800. But I'm kinda grumpy today.

BUY MINE NOW. OBEY MY DOG. It's too tight for my big thighs. I'm fat. I hate myself. Brix price now $850. :(

AKADriver
05-30-2003, 03:25 PM
How fat are you? thats a good point...

I'm 5'10" 170ish, 34" waist... I was reasonably comfortable in a Sparco Pro2000, that's my only full-bucket experience.

ruf
05-30-2003, 03:30 PM
Ok, you are fat. I feel better now. Brix price now $750.

It's not that I'm fat. 5'7" 160# 30" waist. My legs are too big. I have big thighs from working out too much way back when (used to be 25" each), so they crush Mr. Bojangles unless I'm properly adjusted. Aside from that the seat is fine. 6'1" 210# 34" waist fits just fine in it.

Ok, I have to go do work now. Brix price back to $800. Nya nya nya. :p

Ah. I have flab thighs from being a software engineer so my nuts don't get smooshed. Deformable with plenty of cushion :)

I don't want a Brix!

ruf,
Do you have any pictures of the seats you are selling? And are your prices including rails? If not, do you have rails available? Thanks

ps- last question... are you a vendor or a private seller?

ruf
05-31-2003, 03:20 PM
Here is the Artis 2 Navi I have on sale.

http://www.biznetworking.com/ruf/images/240sx/DSC01640.JPG

I have new rails for it too. I'll let them go for $150.

For the rest of the Bride lineup, check www.bride-jp.com
I'll have my reflexracing site up soon and it will have explanations of the different seats. It's not complicated but annoying to try to explain all the little differences in fit.

I am a vendor. Planning on buying some ad space here as soon as my site goes live.

The seat that I'm selling right now is my personal seat that doesn't fit me right. The Brix price I'm just posting for reference.

i'm asian... i'm 5'11 1/2, 200lbs ;)

thats the thing, I *NEED* to sit in seats before i buy them, incase they're too small for me or if they raise the seating possition, its a nono as well =/

I want to buy a brix, but, yeah, gotta find a seat to try it out on.

I could make a couple of suggestions to you about Bride seats. You might also want to consider a bucket instead of a reclinable. They just released some new SUPER low rails without a cross bar for sidemounts. Should give you plenty of helmet clearance.

i haven't really started searching yet. but what i've seen so far is not good.

Ruf: i've considered a bucket before, but i just like the flexibility of a reclinable, especially since it is a daily driver and i like long trips.

i'll look into brides more once i have enough $$ saved up, i'll shoot you an email when it comes time to shop =)
