1992 ka24de s13

I took the throttle off today and 2 of the hoses I disconnected leak coolant. I searched and no one warned about this so I know it is not supposed to be carrying coolant.

Reciprocating throttle coolant injection valve.

I would replace your coolant injectors on your butterfly pin and your base idle screw

sorry, I forgot to disclose that it is a 92 ka24de s13. The coolant appears to just flow in and out. Dont think I have coolant injectors. I assume you base idle screw on the iacv? or do you mean the screw that holds the throttle plate open a bit?

check the finnegan pin of the harmonic balancer shaft, then replace the coolant injectors but make sure the timing is TDC.

ok.. seriously..

every single enigne that i every worked on has coolant running through the throttle body.
its 100% normal operation,
if you would like by-pass it.. just connect the hoses.
