My 240 has the grey leather interior. I am going to have some work done on it next week. My friends dad is a professional auto upholsterer and will do the work for me. I am having the headrests (which come off with zippers) embroidered with the word NISSAN in red, in the writing they use on the car itself. As well, Im having him remove the ugly fake suede inner door panels and replace that with grey leather to match the seats, and im going to have 240SX stitched into those. Thing is I can do whatever color, pattern, design, anything I want, and I need ideas decides my own.
Anyone ever do this or have any creative ideas for me?

you have a great oppurtunity to make your car look great.
my opinion would be to refraim from stictching such as "nissan"
go with a subdued color scheme, something that will look good, match the car and not scream "look at me. look at me"
keep it clean and simple
worst case you run into some money trpouble and can sell the seats, and it wont be so specific they wont sell

I personally see it like those people who get "Honda" or whatever on their windshield. I mean I look at it and be like "No SH!T Sherlock" like I would have never known it was a "Honda" or whatever. Not to pick on any group or nothing. :p
But then again do what you want...

Nothing screams "I AM AWESOME" like red vinyl EVERYTHING!! Except the dashboard. That should be a shade of purple. And your console. Go with yellow there. And mebbe some leopard skin cloth on your seats.
In all seriousness, subtlety ALWAYS looks best. Just keep that in mind, make your colors make sense, and have fun

Just match everything one color....:D
have the seats redone w/ black inserts, grey on the doors...if any embroidery, just have 240sx done on the seat back, up by the shoulder area, not headrests...

okay, im going to use one color to match.. Look at my signature for the interior color scheme. Its black and medium grey.
So what color you think for the stitching?? Assume that the side panels are going to match the seats

I'd go with either black or a contrasting gray for the stitching, in keeping with the subtle theme misnomer mentioned.
