some guy Im talking to has a 91 with blown engine, dented fender and door, seats in pretty bad shape, and he wants to give it to me for 1500 shipped. I'm in saint louis and he is in so. cal.
anyways, he is cool with using some sort of escrow type service.

basically I have 2 questions: is this a good price? and what company should I look for to make sure he doesnt jip me?

I wish. I've been looking and I have yet to find a decent one near me.

I have talked to him some more and where we are at right now is 900 + shipping, I'm pretty sure I can talk him down 100, anyone know where I can get a super cheapo shipping?

well, the thing is, I plan on doing an RB swap, getting S14 seats, and painting the car flat black, so basically, for me, the only thing wrong with this car is that it has a couple dents.

Im gonna try to get him down to 1200 shipped, which should be 800 for the car, I just gotta find good shipping.
